Mayra is joining the team as an assessment psychologist. She received her degree in clinical-community psychology from the University of La Verne and her training emphasized multiculturalism and intersectionality. Mayra makes sure to keep every individual’s multiple identities in mind throughout their work together. She has extensive experience in psychological assessment and psychotherapy, specializing in CBT and ACT. Originally hailing from Los Angeles, she is a proud bilingual Chicana. Mayra enjoys spending time with her family, backpacking, rock climbing, reading, and video games on her free time.
