For students with ADHD, dyslexia, executive functioning struggles, or other learning differences, the challenge often lies in how they process and retain information—not just the material itself.
At the SLC, we focus on how students learn, not just what they learn. Our trained learning specialists work with students to build skills and strategies that match their unique strengths to help overcome their learning challenges.
Meet with a learning specialist (how often).
Work on site or remotely to identify your strengths and areas to strengthen.
Gain insights on your preferred learning strategies with support that can follow you to college.
Strategies tailored to fit how your teen learns best.
Specialized approaches for students with dyslexia.
Empowering students to ask for what they need and take control of their learning.
Tools to improve organization, time management, and focus.
Techniques for minimizing distractions and boosting productivity.
We provide evaluations for suspected learning disabilities or ADHD. These evaluations provide insights into how you think and learn, offering practical strategies to overcome challenges and build on your strengths—whether at school, work, or in daily life.
