Maša holds a Master’s degree from the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, in Special and Rehabilitation Pedagogy. She teaches performing arts and visual arts. She is both a dancer and a dance teacher with a strong music and art background. Through art, music, dance, and theater, Maša uses a multi-sensory and multicultural approach to integrate executive function skills and social-emotional learning into her class while working on cross-curriculum connections with other teachers across the school.

Before coming to the USA, she worked with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and developmental delays at a learning center in Ljubljana and as a tutor for children with learning differences in Madrid, Spain. Maša has 19 years of experience in teaching dance and movement. She earned a certification in transposing dance technique for dancers with disabilities in New York by Kitty Lunn and was teaching creative dance classes for dancers with intellectual disabilities.

In her spare time, she likes to read, swim and spend time outdoors with her husband and a 6-year-old son.
