Dr. Emily Hunt (she/her/hers) is a licensed psychologist who cares for children and young adults with a range of clinical concerns, including depression, anxiety, self-harm, suicidality, trauma, and eating disorders. She strives to take a genuine, compassionate, and collaborative approach in her clinical work and specializes in providing dialectical behavior therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy to adolescents and their families.
Dr. Hunt earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University, where she conducted research on cultural factors that impact the efficacy and accessibility of evidence-based interventions for children and families from diverse backgrounds. She completed her predoctoral internship at UCSF/ Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and her postdoctoral fellowship at Lucille Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, hiking, playing tennis, and walking her dogs.
