Alicia Alvarez graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Psychology. She explored her passion for mental health in college researching resilience in Latinx youth and creating the Banana Slugs for Mental Health Podcast. She is hoping to pursue a career as a social worker with the goal of making mental health resources more accessible to Latinx populations.
She recently made the move to Palo Alto with her partner from LA and is excited to explore the area and be part of EBC. In her free time, you will most likely find her attending concerts, trying matcha lattes, or thrifting at flea markets.
