At Children’s Health Council (CHC), we specialize in providing expert evaluations for children, teens, and young adults (birth to age 25) through a unique, interdisciplinary approach.
Our team of psychologists, neuropsychologists, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists, and educational specialists works collaboratively to uncover each individual’s strengths and challenges, ensuring a holistic understanding of their needs.
CHC offers more than just an evaluation—we provide a seamless path forward. Our ability to deliver comprehensive care under one roof ensures that families don’t have to start over after an evaluation.
At CHC, we understand that every individual’s background and experiences are unique. Comprehensive evaluations are key to understanding a child’s unique needs, whether academic, emotional, or behavioral.
Our comprehensive evaluations cover the range of concerns typically assessed in psychoeducational and neuropsychological evaluations, including intellectual and academic functioning, cognitive processing (e.g., attention, memory), and social-emotional development. These evaluations test for things like ADHD, learning disabilities, and more.
Designed to identify developmental delays or a diagnosis of autism and provide treatment recommendations for long-term success, for ages 0-25.
Evaluates motor skills, handwriting, and sensory processing to enhance coordination and physical development for school and daily life success.
We offer IQ testing to support applications to private schools or gifted programs.
Assesses articulation, expression, comprehension, functional communication, and social language to address delays and improve academic performance and communication.
Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) evaluations determine the most effective ways for individuals to communicate. They support children with limited or no speech by identifying alternative methods to enhance their communication abilities.
Evaluations typically include patient interviews, parent interviews, observations, collaboration with other providers, testing, interpretation, report-writing, and follow-up. Multiple experts. Multiple disciplines. One report. Less confusion.
Once your family has completed an evaluation, participated in the follow up and received a comprehensive report from us, you are invited to return to CHC at no additional cost if you have questions and would like further guidance.
